Microsoft film crew's last day in the Amazon with us. In the morning, we took extensive shots with them while exploring the Amazon jungle on a nature hike. The Amazon is beautiful and we were in awe of what we were able to capture. Very dense jungle ahead:

In the afternoon, our team and Microsoft returned to the work site in the Mondaña village. The site required gravel/cement. Our team traveled to the other side of the river to gather bags of rock and gravel. Filling and dragging the bags was a lot of work – whoa. It is exciting that we will be using the gravel in the upcoming days at the site!

We took more shots with the Microsoft crew following our work in the village. Some groupies taken by selfie master Satya and boat pics:

Back at the lodge, we had a special dinner with Microsoft. As part of the dinner, a group of indigenous musicians performed for us. I can now add some Amazon moves to my dance collection – truly fun night. It was sentimental and touching how close our group had become in the short time together. I will miss the Microsoft crew’s daily presence. The footage captured is extraordinary and my fellow YouthSpark Challenge for Change winners and I are eager to see the stories, photography, and video footage to be released soon...in September!
